ABOUT US

Private Investigators are a very diverse group. Some are highly trained and experienced and bring a highly developed work ethic to bear on every case they undertake. Unfortunately, others offer little more than a video camera and a bad case of insomnia. Obviously, you want the former.

Checkmate Investigations is led by a team of investigative veterans who bring a broad range of experience and skills, and a caring and determined attitude, to every case we touch. Read on to learn just what we have to offer your case.

PAMELA G. GRIGGS

MS. Griggs is the founder of Checkmate Investigations, LLC.  Her experience includes a variety of cases including multi-million dollar divorce cases, surveillance, child custody, missing persons, criminal defense, suspicious death, locating hidden assets and employment verification/research.

MS. Griggs is the President of The Georgia Association of Professional Private Investigators (GAPPI) and serves on the Legislative Committee lobbying for stronger governmental support of our industry.   Pam has also served as Vice President and Treasurer of GAPPI.  She is also a Certified Instructor for the NRA’s Refuse to Be a Victim seminar and teaches the seminar throughout metro Atlanta.

Prior to entering the PI field, MS. Griggs served as the Vice President of Administration for one of Atlanta’s most recognized administrative staffing firms for twenty-five (25) years.  In this capacity, she managed the recruiting certification process for The Georgia Association of Personnel Services for fifteen (15) years.  Her interest in the private investigation field grew out of her responsibility for overseeing due diligence reference checking under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
